Prusa PP powder-coated Print Sheet
Double-sided Powder-coated PP Spring Steel Sheet for Original Prusa MK4/S and i3 MK3/S/+ and MK2.5/S heatbeds.
Compatible with
MK3S MK3 MK2.5S MK2.5 MK3S+ MK4 MK3.9 MK3.5 MK4S MK3.9S MK3.5S CORE One/+
Not compatible with
MK2S MMU2S CW1SL1 MINI MINI+ SL1S CW1S MK2 MMU2 MMU1 XLMMU3 HT90
OVERVIEW:
The MK52 heatbed has embedded high Curie temperature magnets. These magnets are able to firmly hold removable spring steel sheets.
This print sheet is specially designed to print polypropylene-based filaments, especially the Prusament PP Carbon Fiber Black. The PP-type materials have generally a lower adhesion on textured or satin print sheets. This sheet has a special surface finish that increases the adhesion and is perfect for Prusament PP.
The PP sheet has a lightly textured surface finish similar to the Satin Powder-coated Steel Sheet.
IMPORTANT!
Never clean the PP sheet with acetone! Acetone partially dissolves the sheet‘s surface, leaving stains. It may also negatively affect both adhesion properties and the sheet’s lifespan.
ATTRIBUTES
Perfect for most PP materials
No need for any separation layer
Can be cleaned with IPA
Supports printing large PP parts
Suitable only for PP-based materials, PLA, PETG, and TPU. Other materials tend to detach mid-print
Can be damaged with acetone
Notes:
Consumable parts, such as PEI sheets (smooth, textured, PP, etc.) are not covered by warranty as the coatings are designed to diminish over time unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, cracks, or other cosmetic damage is also not covered by the warranty. Only defective sheets on arrival are covered by warranty.
After removing the 3D-printed object, you may notice a visible imprint on the sheet’s surface. This is only a visual change: it doesn’t leave any marks on the next 3D-printed parts and does not affect the printing properties in any way. Therefore it’s not considered a reason for a warranty claim.
As a result of the temperatures to which the sheet is exposed during printing, some parts of heatbed texture may be imprinted into the sheet’s bottom side and make some parts slightly glossier. This visual change does not adversely affect the printing properties and is also not considered a reason for a warranty claim.
