Through the art of 3D printing, EDS offers a range of solutions for the production of custom parts. Whether you require smaller quantity prototypes or intricate yet durable parts for large scale production, our team of expert engineers can support you with a comprehensive design and installation service, developing solutions from single components to complete systems and where required offer consultancy and advice.
Up to a printing size of 600x600x600mm, we offer a range of materials for print, including hybrid prints reinforced with steel, printed with magnets or with threaded inserts.
Engineering
With over 30 years’ experience in engineering lifting equipment, fixtures and tooling, EDS develop and supply bespoke engineering solutions for industrial environments such as tooling, jigs, assembly fixtures, plus moving and lifting gear. A large proportion of our work is within manufacturing industries.
Design
We are approved specialists based in the United Kingdom with our designs all adhering to BS EN ISO 9001:2015. Structural design is carried out using tried and tested theoretical methods, with reference to British and European Standards as appropriate. We work closely with our customers to ensure our designs surpass the required specifications.
Supplies
EDS supply a range of loose lifting equipment from shackles and eyebolts, up to the design, supply and installation of overhead lifting facilities comprising cranes and runways for entire factories. We also provide sub-assembly fixtures, build fixtures and special tooling to enable our customers to improve their production output.
