Similar to the regular Prusament PETG, it is a tough material with good thermal resistance. It has universal use, but is\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eespecially suitable for housings and insulating parts in electronics, due to its self-extinguishing properties.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePETG V0 is not prone to warping, so printing large objects isn’t a problem. When our Prusament PETG V0 starts burning, it creates a carbonized crust on the surface that prevents the oxygen from getting in and fueling the flame and eventually extinguishes the fire.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4 class=\"Heading-sc-bb4ac814-0 jGfwgo\"\u003ePrint preparation\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis filament needs to be kept\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eas dry as possible as it's more hygroscopic\u003c\/strong\u003e, compared to regular PETG. If you can't keep the filament dry, we suggest drying it before use for 6 hours at 55 °C.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePowder-coated\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSatin or TXT sheet\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eprovides good adhesion.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eClean it with IPA\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e(available in drugstores, for example) which works great not only with Prusament PETG V0 but with other materials too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePour a small amount of IPA on a paper towel and use it for cleaning the surface.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTo achieve the best results, clean the surface while it’s cold.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eKeep in mind that higher temperatures will evaporate the alcohol before cleaning the surface. Also, don’t forget that the heatbed preheated for printing Prusament PETG V0 has a high temperature (80 °C) and may burn you if you touch it!\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAnother possibility is cleaning the surface with warm water and a few drops of dish cleaner\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eon a paper towel. You can also use denatured alcohol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWe don’t recommend printing with Prusament PETG V0 on a smooth PEI sheet.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eThis material adheres strongly to the PEI surface and\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003emay cause damage to it.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eThis type of damage is not covered by the warranty.
