Description

These premium DiamondBack Prusa nozzles bring you the most extreme Nextruder Nozzle solution to date.

Why Choose Diamond?

The rapid development of fibre, metal and ceramic filaments has increased the need for abrasion-resistant nozzles. Compared with all the nozzle options on the market, DiamondBack’s diamonds deliver unmatched wear-resistance and versatility.

Smooth and Hard

Unlock extreme wear resistance thanks to DiamondBack’s Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) tips. These diamonds are composed of thousands of tiny diamond crystals with a proprietary binder that forms a matrix of crystals joined with diamond-to-diamond bonds. They retain the hardness properties of diamond whilst reducing the inherent brittleness of a single-crystal diamond, making them a fantastic choice for printing with engineering grade metal and ceramic-filled filaments.

Precision Printing

DiamondBack nozzles rely on a solid diamond tip to improve precision 3D printing. The tip is not a diamond coating, but rather a solid diamond insert made from the hardest material in the world.

Longevity

The PCD used in these Prusa Nextruder Nozzles significantly extends nozzle life. It provides best-in-class thermal conductivity which improves interlayer adhesion for stronger prints, and the low coefficient of friction combined with a polished tip creates super smooth top layers with an ironing-like effect.

Effortless Upgrade

These Nozzles are a drop-in replacement for your stock Prusa Nextruder Nozzle, no adjustment to the mount or part cooling is required.

Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk a jam. Please check your filament manufacturer’s datasheet for recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/hotend you choose is suitable for your use case.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to make any changes to the slicer profile after upgrading to DiamondBack Nextruder nozzle?
We recommend the standard slicer profiles as a starting point when printing with the Diamondback nozzle. However, it may be possible for print performance to be further improved by tuning for your specific filament.

Which printers is this nozzle compatible with?
Prusa MK3.9, Prusa MK3.9S, Prusa MK4, Prusa MK4S, Prusa XL, Prusa CORE One, and Prusa CORE One L.

Can a DiamondBack nozzle print any filament?
Yes, the nozzle itself has the ability to print any material. However, please bear in mind that despite using the nozzle you will still be limited by the temperature restrictions of your printer.
